How to Request Account Deletion

• SocietySync accounts are managed at the society level.
• Users cannot delete their account directly from the application.
• To request account deletion, users must contact their authorized society administrator.
• The administrator will verify the request and initiate the deletion process.

What Data Is Deleted

Upon approval by the society administrator, the following data is deleted or anonymized:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Profile information
• Messages and uploaded content (where applicable)

Data Retention

• Certain data may be retained if required for legal, regulatory, or accounting purposes.
• Any retained data is securely stored with restricted access.
• Retained data is deleted once the mandatory retention period ends.

Processing Time

Account deletion requests are typically processed within a reasonable timeframe after administrator approval. Backup data, if any, is purged according to standard retention cycles.
